    My baby chicks sometimes open and close their mouths and I can’t figure out why. Recently, after breathing on their faces we noticed they opened then closed their mouths. All of them did it except the one I am fairly certain is a cockerel, and I was wondering if this is normal or abnormal behavior.

    Okay, ether the chick has an allergy to garlic, the garlic was bad, the feed went bad, something got in the feed, or the chick possibly swallowed it’s own tongue?

    Green poop is usually caused by eating grass, and I doubt this is some kind of worm or parasite.
