    WOW!! that is amazing!! The owner should play the lottery or something! I am glad the horses weren't hurt!! So far some of my herd is a bit wet, but doing well otherwise...still have a few hours til the storm is all the way out of my area!

    I hear you about the barn, mine looks rickety, but it was standing through all the other hurricanes, before I moved there. holliewould -- I am glad you came through it safe!! it is windy and rainy still, tornado watches--the usual...just watching and waiting!!

    Thanx! I am keeping my eye on it, I hope it just stays a tropical storm. I am about to get the back end of one of the bands....looks like it's going to be a doozie...will probably hit my area in the early mourning, hopefully the herd will stay put in the cozy barn I am going to leave the door...

    I know what you mean about how wasteful society is...I use the hides, feathers, bones, organs, intestines...heck I even dry the tendons from the goats I butcher for sewing the leather products I make from the hides!!! I HATE wasting!!!!! And I will remember to NOT cross those particular birds!!

    That is what I was thinking!! if it gets really bad out there, I was thinking of bringing all the babies (goats) and putting them in the laundry room....just because I have some orphans who don't always follow what the rest of the herd is doing, so they don't always keep themselves out of...
