Wooohoooo!! I got 7 golden comet chicks today at country max. They are resting nicely in their new brooder box with fresh food and nice cool water.

Well I went to TSC to get my chicks and they were all sold out. It appears they sold the last of them yesterday. I guess it is time to regroup again and wait to see what happens. Maybe we were not ment to start this year.

I got bad news the otherh day. My company downsized a bunch of people and I was one. So I will have to put off getting my flock started until next year. I won't have the $ to do it right now.

Thanks, we are still researching and deciding what to do. We are hoping to be ready to purchase some chicks end of march or begining of april.

That is close enough. So far I am glad I found BYC, just in brousing the diffrent threads I have learned some.

Not sure about the swap, I am not up on those things. Where is it at? If I can go it may be a good learning experience.
