ive read reviews in those most people got a smooth feathered bird that didnt lay a blue egg so there just breeding more silkies is all as the pic isnt even of a mix its just a hatchery silkie pic

I actually disagree because mine looked VERY similar to the one in the pic.

They look pretty good to me, due to their standard size and silkied quality. Don't even care about blue eggs, I just need a standard size silkie. Apparently they are 100% silkied now-according to the listing and their customer service that I checked with (they have wonderful customer service, btw) says the same. I don't have an issue with MyPetChicken either-they have wonderful customer service, sexed bantams, low chick minimums, great help sections, don't use extra chicks for warmth, and are overall a great hatchery IMO.

Last i checked though, they wanted like 60 bucks for a small order and their birds were like 10 bucks a piece when I wanted them sexed. Maybe they're cheaper now, but I was not impressed by the prices
