… did I get what I paid for?

Yes I’d be willing to share the name I will say I’m still not sure but I have seen people recently talking about their birds they got from them being sick and I’ve had better luck with Raley farms BCM but hers are black though. I only have 2or 3 surviving blues (some of them are dark blue) I just lost a black copper from the bunch I got from Boise breeder they sent me off with a sick chick in my batch when I picked up my 10 that I held the entire way home. So I personally am in the same boat as you as I got my chicks from Harper family farms and one of these bcms they gave me is either a cuckoo Maran or an Easter egger/ Maran cross or an olive egger Maran cross because she has barring on her wings. I’m not sure what is happening but I definitely won’t be back sadly
I’m so sorry that happened to you. Same breeder for me. I will say however, that I got two barred rock pullets from them that are doing awesome and super healthy. It’s only the blue Copper Marans 🐣 that I’ve had the trouble with. In fact, all of the other chicks I got, including the black copper from them are doing fantastic. I was wondering if maybe the blues were brand new hatched and not ready for the stress of going to a new place… May also account for why they’re so tiny? This is my first time with Copper Marans though so I wasn’t sure if it’s a breed thing. Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

thanks and same to you. I have one Blue and i think its a boy i might keep it and see if i can find a Blue copper hen and breed him. However the bad news is im unsure if thats a good idea due to the fact that i now have another Chick "black Copper maran" thats growing barring on its neck now and im starting to think i didnt get what i paid for at all. Im going to keep them and grow them to laying age to find out for sure so ill definitely post pictures. the blue i will say i feel is trust worthy possible due to the fact that hes all blue i even named him blue lol. I have one girl that im super confinident is a girl but her tail is growing slow and shes a black copper maran i call the It girl and shes 2.5 weeks old lol. tail growing slow says she might be a roo. which ill be bummed about because i really hoped she was just a chill female with a sassy vibe about her but time will tell :) lol Images below of the two ones im confident in when i got them It girl was a little older but blue looked to be around 2 or 3 days old. I ll see if i can get some pictures tomorrow now that their wings have feathered out so far :)
