2(ish) week old ISA Brown(?) chick

Many moons back I got 6 ISA Brown week old chicks from a nursing home's Easter display. 5 chestnut brown colour feather chicks and 1 was perfect white colour feather. The white feather colour chick turned out to be a rooster. Later I read online that ISA Brown gender is exactly that. Here is the white feather colour chick is now a 6 years old rooster.

Ohhh, he is GORGEOUS!

Sybil was cream/yellowish as a chick. Light enough that I wondered about her sex for a long time, as more white than brown feathers came in.

She's definitely a pullet, though! Here she is today, just over 4 months old :)

From my flock of Isa Brown, those brown/white like your girls are the hens. They were chestnut brown as chicks then they grown into the colour like your. I like ISA Brown, but they suffer reproductive ill health and I have tried to reduce their intake so their eggs are not so big, but that did not help, the eggs keep coming 7 days a week, when it does not is because they have some sort of reproductive issues. Very nice personality, even the rooster is very calm and friendly. They turn aggressive toward new members.

Long overdue update!

Obviously she's a RSL. Golden comet seems likely.

On November 28th, at just under 5 months old, she laid her first egg:

She has laid one egg a day since then and is doing amazing!

This is my favorite egg. I'm going to clean it out and keep it on a shelf! She laid it on December 14th

She is a hen for absolute certainty. The rooster when he was a chick he had white feather and then eventually turned to gold/brown/red/white.

In Australia, we have Isa Brown which look similar to your hen there. They have personality - like affection, great communicator, smart, and affectionated. I love it they talk a lot, want attention and they follow me around, jump on high place to get closer to me to get my attention.
