I got my chickens from Tractor Supply 3 weeks ago today. 4 out of 6 of them have developed combs, is this a sign that they're roosters?

Doodle was sold as an Australorp pullet.
Dumpling was in the assorted bantam bin and I've learned that he/she is a Sebright.

Patty and Shelly were sold in a "Silver Laced Wyandotte Pullet" bin. I was told they're really Buff Orpingtons. Patty is significantly darker, bigger and they have different comb shapes. When I searched her it the first thing that pops up is Orpington chicken but when I search Shelly the first thing that pops up is BROILER chicken?! 😭 Please help.. 🥹

Not necessarily but it's to early to tell, once they are fully feathers post new pictures of the whole body of them.

Did u buy pullets or straight run? Straight run you have a bigger chance of getting cockerels in the mix

I edited my post. This is my first time posting on the forums and I accidentally posted before I was ready. 😅

I don't see in waddle development either, that's a good indicator that they are more than likely pullets..

Once fully feather an a few more weeks it will be a little easier to see.

Bumping with some full body pics at 5+ weeks old. Asking what breed for the yellow ones and gender of any if possible.

Looks to me all pullets.. i am not seeing any saddle feathers as of right now. And combs are all about a normal size for pullets. Roos or normally more red then these. But I could be wrong.

Example. This one is three weeks and I am 99% sure it's a roo

Here's my Sebrights. I'm pretty sure at least one (the one with the red comb) is male.

It's hard taking pictures of chickens. 😅
