I need some help please. I have a2 week old chick (not sure what kind sorry) who is having trouble standing up. Her right leg slowly slides out in front of her if she is stand on tile. If on rough surface she leans to the right until she is laying down on the right side and standing on the left leg. She stands up when huddled next to her sisters. Eating and drinking well. Flaps het wings like a wildwoman when I pick her up.I first noticed about 2-3 days ago but I thought she may have gotten trampled by the 5 week old ducks. I made her a stick shelter for protection in the brooder and she hides in there by herself most of the day. seems to be getting worse!!!
Does splay leg present with weakness like that? I see no obvious deformity oither than her foot might twist inward just a tiny bit.
I'm a chick novice. Please help

Yes and no. It's only one leg. I didnt know if spraddle leg always affected both legs or if it could just be in one. I read up on tendon slippage and I have ruled that out and it doesnt look broken. SHe does stand on it and there is no swelling, Its more like her leg is weak. She lays down frequently, like shes tired. Any ideas?
