We purchased our four chicks on May 30 from a local Texas Tractor Supply Co. We chose two from a tub of yellow chicks and two from a type of grey chicks. They did not know the breeds or how old they were?! When friends asked what we got, we said “two yellow and two grey”
Through much research and YouTube videos we think they were at least a week or two old when we purchased them, making them 12 or 13 weeks old today. Attached are pictures when they were babies and their progression… they grow so fast and change daily!! I did not take the best pictures in the very beginning and the most recent one with my son in it may be hard to see them but they are starting to get the bumps about their beaks and the grey have red, and brown ones have pink, around their faces! They all have four toes… Three long ones and one short thumb in the back
