2023 TSC Chick Prices

I just got back from one, no chicks. But my tsc I don't care for the employees they are rude and dismissive. I rarely buy from them. I got back into quail so although there is an uptick on price for eggs, it's about the same and I get a better return on my money. People impulse buy then realize the cost and upkeep keeping chickens. I expect to see for sales by summer. When that dz eggs cost you $200 before the birds start to lay, most will bale out.

I got pine flakes from Blains Fleet farm delivered for 7.99 so I ordered five big blocks. It was the best purchase I could have made!
7.99 including delivery or 7.99 was the delivery fee? Just not clear of what you're saying.

I stopped at the local TSC. They had straight run chicks, and straight run ducks. I asked when they'd get more chicks, and the guy said he didn't know, usually Monday or Tuesday. I asked about pullets and he said they sell out of those as fast as they can get them.

Ended up at a different TSC today. They had pearl leghorns, Marans, and “Americanas”. They were $5.49. I think most of them were around the $3 range last year.

And no, I did not buy any. I resisted. Clearly because I just started the Easter HAL. 😂

I got there an hour before they were ready to sell (because we drove down the day before, the lady I spoke with on the phone told me chicks would be in) in but had to wait 24 hours t ok sell. I think if I'd of just called I may have received a different answer. We got our 4 chicks, now we have to wait to see if there are all girls!!
