3 or more hens ate metal!

It got there in the first place when, we were making the coop and long nails stuck out of wood. So, I cut it out. I got most of them in a bucket but some were not found. I don’t know exactly how big the area is about 3/4 of an acre. I want to put sod over the dirt so it will cover the nails. Thanks for asking.
 
I know what you mean. when building mine I had to cut roofing and siding nails protruding into inside of the coop with an angle grinder. Luckily nothing was flying to outside - so I was able to vacuum them all from inside of the coop before filling it with deep bedding.
good luck. note that chickens would often scratch and destroy sod looking for worms
