6 toes on a Silkie??

I just got some assorted bantams and 2 of them have what yours have and i was woundering what was wrong with them hahahaha

culling does not mean killing. It is removal from the breeding flock and nothing more. Having a lame bird or a possibility of a lame bird goes hand in hand with healthy flocks. Excessive toes, and toes that fold under the foot can get infected too. There is a reason why some traits are DQ's. There is nothing wrong with having a pet bird with extra toes. The problems comes in when you bred it or sell it with out correct information given to the buyer.
 
I don't believe they're from hatchery lines.

I'm assuming that means disqualify ? For show purposes, that is...

Around here DQ means Dairy Queen and people are more concerned with getting it super-sized.

This is a forum titled "Breeds, Genetics & Showing"; why then would it be obvious that you care less about poultry judging? Since a sixth toe is a disqualification in a show it certainly wouldn't be something a breeder would tolerate so why don't you believe theese are hatchery birds?
Oh, apparently you were concerned enough about this to post a question about it.
