Hi, these chicks are supposed to have been born around February 24th (this is what the seller said, but some of them seem younger to me!).
First picture was taken on March 6th, second picture was taken on April 7th and all single pictures were taken today.
1, 2 and 3 are Legbar and pretty easy to tell: 1 and 2 pullets, 3 roo.
4 and 5 are Araucana (Italian standard, I know it's very different from all other Araucana standards!) an my guess is they are both pullets.
6, 7 and 8 are Olive Eggers (F1 MaransXAraucana): 6 seems to be pullet to me and 7 with all that red on the chest must be cockerel. The one I'm racking my brains over is number 8: (s)he still has no wattles and comb is still small and pale, but this is true also for number 7... so I can't really tell. The only difference between them is that 8 has no red feathers anywhere. I'm leaning toward cockerel but I would really appreciate your inputs.
Thanks for your help!

You’re correct on the legbars. I think that 7 and 8 are boys. Other than that, nothing is screaming cockerel to me, but they are still young and could mature and be boys still. Also number 4 looks to have a weird foot or leg.

I agree with you about 3 being a cockerel. 7 and 8 are on the borderline for me. They both have pink coloring in the combs, but the combs are small.

I think you're going to have to watch them and see. If the combs have growth spurts and get more colorful within the next month, they are probably boys.

I don't think the red chest in 7 means anything, but red shoulders often indicate a cockerel.

It looks like the post is wet and it's shaking the water off
Correct: there's nothing strange in number 4 leg, it's just the picture! :)
Thanks for all your inputs, basically I'll have to wait! 7 and 8 are going away today so I won't be able to update their pictures. I'll ask to the person who's taking them what will they turn out to be!

I'm not so sure legbar 2 is a boy. That looks like female feathering to me. All 3 of the legbars have a spot on their head in the first picture, as they should because males and females are both barred (it's just more muddled in hens)

These are my first Legbar, so I'm new to this breed, but 1 and 2 are currently much darker and have very smaller and yellower combs than 3, this is why I guess 1 and 2 are pullets and the only male is 3... but we'll see! I hope I have at least a couple so someday in the future I'll have some chicks and learn more about them!

Oops, I read that backwards then! I agree, 1 and 2 look like definite pullets to me too.
