9am and already one of those days...

This morning one of the Bigs (older hens) got herself stuck in the Littles pen while trying to steal their food. They are all on the same food (All Flock). LOL... It might be time to remove the pen and come up with other ways for a safe space as the Littles are getting too big anyway.

We have a bird house on our fence that bluebirds use for nesting. I look forward to it every spring. A little bit ago my husband found one of the bluebirds dead in our driveway. Bad neighbor's cat. That's disappointing. If it was the male killed do you think the female will stay on the nest?

Found cat puke in the laundry basket of clean clothes. My cats are indoor cats.

On a side note... Today is my birthday. My husband gave me a card with a chicken on it holding an accordion. When you press the button it plays the Chicken Dance music.
