A single duckling brooder box?

The mother duck doesn't know Chirp is her baby. Get him friends but try to set up a situation so that they can see the big ducks and the big ducks can see them. The sooner they get together the better. Keep them adjacent for a couple of days then let them be together. You'll probably find one of the ducks adopts the ducklings, but you have to keep watch.
Thanks for the advice! I am receiving a two day old Pekin duck to add to my single Rouen duckling. He’s still going strong so 🤞🏻

You don't have two singletons. You put the two ducklings together. They will be best friends.
They were not at all best friends. I gave the one single duck I bought back. She went running to her sisters and fit right back in without missing a beat. Mine remains alone.

How long did you give them together? It takes a few days to a week to integrate young ducklings they are very rarely friends right away. Sometimes they will chase each other and sometimes they will hide from each other both are very normal when introducing ducklings.

I tried to put them together right away. Mine attacked it. It was only two days old I had to separate them. Then they were in cages side by side for four days. The new little one stopped eating and was constantly calling for her sisters. I tried putting them together one more time and mine attacked it again. I decided to give her back to the ppl who sold her to me. Maybe if I would have tried with two or three little ones to bond with my much much bigger one week old duckling maybe it would have been different.

So now we are like this. Sigh
