Pics
23 weeks old.
(Not in order of pics)

Missy (White one) lays a light blue egg.

Chipmunk (not from this hatch but our other blue layer, is the brown/goldish one, she is 26weeks old)

RedHead(the grey one, yeah they were named as chicks haha)

GreyBeard (orange with grey beard muffs)

Dreamcicle (orange/white)

I've been trying to catch them in the act of laying but they lay when I'm not home but we get some really pretty eggs!
Beautiful eggs and ladies! Congratulations on the eggs! 😍😍 :clap :clap

Lost Chipmunk this morning. I feel terrible because I didn't check on them last night- I've been drained from work and took a nap before bed.

No rhyme nor reason, although yesterday she laid a double yolk and it was pretty big considering what she'd been laying. No parasites of any kind, no predators. Although son thought she felt like her neck was broken. Which just makes it too weird when we lost an Australorp last Tuesday. We figured egg bound as she hadn't laid in a while. Not sure. Just gonna take it as it comes and go from there.

So sorry about your loss. She was such a pretty girl! :hit:hugs:hugs:hugs:hugs

The four left. And three lay a pale minty green -ish to almost blue and Missy(white girl) lays a light blue

And RedHead (the variegated grey/gold one) is now known as HeyHey... Yes, just like the rooster from the movie Moana... And precisely for that reason lol she seems to be dumber than the others and is super hyper active
