Advice and suggestions wanted for feeding advice

Hi, I have been showing chickens for 3 years through FFA, and I currently have a single buff Brahma bantam cock. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a show feed that is not necessarily for layers (flock raiser type) I am really trying to focus on feather quality and shine. In addition if anyone has any supplement suggestions to add on. I haven’t really experimented with feed before and have stuck to purina flock raiser, and I want to do more for him.

Have you heard of Nutrena Feather Fixer? It's pricey, but it's got a high amount of animal protein in it. It may suit your needs. But do not ferment it. The animal protein in the feed will cause such a strong unpleasant odor when fermented you will want to flee the premises.

You could offer him a tin of sardines: great nutrition, healthy oils, accessible, sustainable, relatively cheap. See what a difference it makes. My birds thrive with them as part of the diet.
