My duck was attacked by an eagle. At first he seemed mostly unharmed, albeit rather traumatized and there was some blood in a few spots and he couldn't flap his wings like normal. Last night his wings started drooping like he was struggling to keep them up but today they seem like they are in a normal position but still not able to open them all the way. The first portion of the video is last night and the second part is from today.

Just from visual, do they look like a normal position and he's just in pain from the attack or could they be broken?

He's not eating very well but he is drinking and is interested in foraging and walking around.

Thanks!

I would start him on an antibiotic immediately. Have you carefully inspected his wings inside and out for wounds and then clean the wounds with a chlorhexidine solution or povidone iodine solution 10%, 90% water, or you could spray them generously with vetericyn poultry wound spray, and then a smear of non-pain relief kind of antibiotic ointment like Neosporin.

Thanks! Would enrofloxacin work? There is a wound under his right wing so I just applied more iodine which I did the first day, too. I haven't opened the wing though cuz I am worried about hurting him if is dislocated or broken. Is there any way I can get an idea on if it's broken or dislocated based on watching him? He seems to be doing better in that he's attempting to groom himself and what not.
