Any Home Bakers Here?

Good morning, everyone.

It’s a little crazy here in the city of Dietrich. Helicopter landed in the school football field to carry somebody out. Obviously life flight. First time I’ve ever seen that. Somebody obviously had a severe medical condition.

It’s a little unsettling to know that this happened on my street.

Anyway, I need some input on my Thanksgiving menu plan. Here’s what I have so far:

Turkey
Prime rib
mashed potatoes
Giblet gravy
Green bean casserole
Cranberry sauce
Pumpkin pie
Stuffing
Rolls
Peach pie
Key lime pie
Deviled eggs

I know, it’s a lot, but we have a lot of people coming over. Both sets of grandparents and some neighbors. That plus the exchange students equals about 16 people total I think.

Is that stuffing in the bird, stove top stuffing, cornbread stuffing, or more than one?

Not stuffing in the bird, stove top.
I prefer either Stovetop, or at least stovetop. I strongly dislike it in the bird. I have discovered that cornbread stuffing is delightful as well.
The first time I stuffed a turkey, it was about three in the morning, and I was drunk off my tush. I was still very much a city girl (“meat is from the store, not my backyard”), and I never would have gotten through it in my right mind.
