Any Home Bakers Here?

Bread just came out of the oven. I tweaked it a little, we'll see what happens. The recipe calls for 14 cups of bread flour, and last time I substituted 3 cups of rye flour, and honey for sugar. It came out moist, and denser. Today I substituted 4 cups of rye flour, honey for sugar again.

Vertigo came back scared me made me wonder life a bit.
Not doing allot baking might make some corn bread tonight.
Doing rockfish and fries.
Do the rockfish as fish bites now.
pennyJo, I have a neighbor friend that has Vertigo. I guess
we all have issues....I think and we all must do our best.
Take time to rest. I baked today....very tired right now....
I do enjoy baking...but it does become more difficult.

Do any of you get the urge to cook/bake in adverse weather?

We're getting tropical storm rain and wind today/tomorrow, so I decided to make crock pot pork chops, placed between layers of pickled red cabbage. It's totally an experiment, but as the meat has been in my freezer for three years it doesn't matter if they are inedible.

In the last few months I have been slow-cooking meat taken from the depths of my freezer, and the results have been good, no freezer-burn taste at all. I wonder if using sauerkraut and pickled cabbage as part of the cooking process is improving the taste?
