Any Home Bakers Here?

Hello there! I don't think I've been in this thread before. I've dabbled in baking and cooking, and I greatly enjoy it! About two years ago I found out I am intolerant to gluten, so it has been a fun journey figuring out how to live gluten free. I am a young adult, just got married this month and moved from Ohio to Wyoming, and I hope I can pick back up with my escapades relatively soon! The latest thing I made were quiche egg muffins. Very good, I overhauled a recipe I found online. My husband had 60 eggs to get rid of! I used 30 and he's been eating the rest.

Eggs, spices, potato shreds, peppers, and cheese. Super tasty and great for a quick microwave breakfast!
Welcome to the thread. I have a fractured hip and walking with a walker....we have only a bunch of wonderful people here. Join us. Aria

Today I made (and sampled extensively) the cranberry sauce. I also made the stuffing, which is in a casserole in the fridge. I just need to figure out when to stick it in the oven with the turkey so that they come out about the same time.

I bought a bag of onions to use instead of our own garden onions. First of all because store bought are big and I would only need 3-4, and second because we don't have many left. And third, they don't cost much.

:frow I'm GF too. Welcome to the thread!
Thank you!

Have you tried your hand at making good gluten free bread? I would like to do gf sourdough at some point. The only good store-bought gf bread in my opinion is the Sam's Choice brand. It's the size of regular bread, and almost as soft, too! It's just so hard to find decent gf bread.

Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving
