Deb,
This Saturday is a huge auction. It is at Fredericksburg, Pa off of rt 78 near rt 80 junction. This auction starts at 0900 am or 1000 am and has lasted till after midnight. They have almost all the rare chickens, peacocks, pheasants, doves, pidgeons, canaries, parakeets, cage birds. This is a rare and exotic sale. They have rare goats, sheep, donkeys, zebras sometimes, min horses, camels, snakes, rats, rodents and other exotic animals.
If you are looking for something that can't be found it may just be at this auction. This auction is just great to see even if you don't buy.
Remember this is an auction and if you are buying you really need to look close at the animals and quarantine your purchases. There will be good healthy birds(even show quality) but there will also be culls and possibly ill birds there.

Hi!! I was wondering what auction you're talking about? Is it at the Lebanon Valley Livestock Auction house? I didn't realize they got such an assortment of animals in there! I'm gonna HAVE to go

Please let us know where it's at! Thanks Harry!!

Steph,
Yes, it is at the Lebanon Valley Livestock Auction, at exit 8 off of route 78. You would take route 78 West since you live above Allentown.
You just missed Roots exotic auction about 2 weeks ago. Superior Hatchery sold some of their birds at that auction but nothing I needed. They did have a very nice pair of Jersey Giants though. They had other birds but nothing for me. They had LF Lavender Orps and Ameraucanas also there. Plus there were a some nice polish also. Dickey automatic incubator and a homemade hatcher. Lots of cages and wire, nest boxes ect. There were some poultry judges there and many people that show chickens.
Good luck everybody.

Saturday evening at 6:30 there is an animal auction at Renninger's in Schuylkill Haven on Rt. 61. They have it every Saturday evening unless it's the 5th Saturday of the month, if the calendar happens to ever fall that way.

Sara,
No, there is nothing I need right now. It would be nice though to look incase an EE in the chocolate color would pop up. I have another commitment for Saturday. Saturdays and Sundays are out for the shows unless it rains till December.
