It was kind of chilly here Friday night. The mountains got a final 1" of snow. Nothing down here but I sure enjoyed feeling chilly! It will probably be the last time until the winter.

Hey there, AZ friends. It's been busy here with the new chicks, and visiting family. The chicks are now just over 9 weeks old, so they certainly don't look like chicks anymore.

I'm going to try to attach a video of them I just took. Maybe you can confirm if my suspicions are correct that, of the 7, there is only 1 roo? These are all a cross of Bielefelder and ISA brown.

The large one that also has the most distinct patterning and large comb and wattles is the one I think is a roo. All the others... I think they are girls. What do you think? (there are 7 chicks in all)

I still have alot on hand. Some I bought, but other's were given to me that were from the store bought one's that they had. I thought these were cute though, so I bought them.

The only time that I use those store bought egg cartons that were given to me is when the person didn't bring me back the ones that I bought.
