Not yet, I’ll learn how next fall. Can’t wait to practice on my classmates

follow-on question. Do you suck less at it than the @!#@#$@@$@#$ techs here who can't hit a vein the size of a barn with a sewing needle in less than 4 tries?

Like I said, I can’t start IVs yet. That said, I’ve seen some nurses who are really awesome at starting IVs struggle with a certain patient. You don’t necessarily go for the veins you see, you have to go by feel, and it can be tricky.
