When did you get your first computer (at home or at work)?

My parents got me a TI-99/4A (Commodore 64 competitor) in 5th or 6th grade. Basically a console that you plugged into a CRT TV and used that for display. We had some kind of Tandy 8088 clone after that for a few years. Then My first "real" computer was an Packard Bell 486/50 that I got for Christmas my Sr. year of High school. With Windows 3.11 on it, and a built-in 9600 baud modem

"Cool" is relative so this is my take, but these to me are the coolest things I've made.

My work issued mbp until I installed virtualbox on it and turned it into a fedora bootloader.
