I mean is there really a cooler name to have? Moony's are kind of a big deal if you weren't aware.Why do you choose the name Moony for all the chicks that are in hatch-a-longs?
These are EEs with (obviously) strong Orp genes. I had Buff Orps in the past that co-parented, so this does not surprise me at all. The one with the dark head is fiercely protective. The other is a little more mellow.With Leghorns of course I don't get many broodies but mothers with chicks out doing chicken things is about the cutest thing.
