Asking Gender and Breed for my 5 birds.

The first one is the head chick - Willow (was daisy)

The second is her side kick Mia - They look close in breed but one has really fluffy cheeks.

The 3rd is Raven - I think he may be a White faced black Spanish??
The 4th is Cait - Also very fluffy cheeks

The 5th is Gabriel. I think he's a Silkie Roo. He has large wattles since he was 6 weeks (It's hard to see his comb and wattles through his giant afro.

Any help is greatly appreciated :D:frow

All mixes.

First one looks like it's either an olive egger or maybe silkie mix.

2nd one is an Olive Egger. I see muffs and feathered feet so possibly Marans and Ameraucana mix.

3rd one is tricky. I think I see blue ears? If that's the case, I'd guess silkie mix but I don't see any other silkie traits.

4th is an Easter Egger.

5th looks more like a polish than a silkie to me.

I would have never guessed 1 and 3 could potentially be a silkie mix. This was incredibly helpful as a starting point to research the breeds more. Thank you!

Check the possible Silkie mixes for number of their toes.

Of one parent was pure Silkie they should have five instead of the usual four toes per foot as it is a dominant trait.

Trim back the overgrown crest of the last bird to allow for unobstructed view.

I did the other day and he's much happier but still pretty blind. It's so thick in front of his eyes that I don't know how to thin it. I haven't seen one chick with an afro quite as big as his.
