She is an ara x and has never grown tail feathers so I'm thinking rumpless gene but not sure. I put a pic up of her on one of the fb pages to see if anyone knows much about it...

Yeah, rumpless does sometimes randomly appear. I believe @Ashburnham got one once and he breeds Aras.
Breed from her with a Ara rooster and see what you get.
