Oh thank god! I was thinking we were all good and then those feathers popped out and I got nervous. Glad you think she’s still a pullet. I’ll keep posting as she grows. Those pointy feathers aren't really pointy. They're just growing in funky but you can clearly see the rounding. Male pointy feathering is really obvious once you see it.
She's single barred which is a good sign she's female with this breed. I think you're safe!
Oh wow, I’ve heard of the double barring but didn’t realize it remained into adulthood. I assumed that coloring was only present in chicks. Thank you! This is the best image I could find comparing the sexes of Barred Rocks. Males are "double barred," meaning for every black bar in their feathers, there are two white bars, side by side. This gives them a much lighter appearance than females, who have one dark bar to every light bar. Males from a distance thus appear almost grey, while females look closer to black.
Your bird is female and is not going to change.

Definitely a pullet! In my opinion the tail feathers at this age are so unreliable. The double barring was something that was pointed out to me with my cockerel and the difference is crazy to see! This was my boy at 5/6 weekt
He’s so handsome! Totally different coloring. I see it now. And his comb is much bigger and tail is more upright.Definitely a pullet! In my opinion the tail feathers at this age are so unreliable.
