  • Manufacturer: Harris Farms
  • Model: 1030121
  • Egg Capacity: 16-22 (depending on if you have bantam eggs, those fit in the extra 6 slot in middle)
  • What you like about it: VERY easy to use, includes candler light, hatch rate is high!
  • What you don't like about it: it runs out water fast for humidity (I fill it 2x a day) but that might me normal. This is the only incubator I have tried. Oh and its over $150.

  • Manufacturer: Brinsea
  • Model: Ovation EX
  • Egg Capacity: 28 regular chicken eggs, 32 bantam chicken eggs, or up to 6 emu eggs 😅
  • What you like about it: Seems to hold temperature steady. Holds chicken eggs either upright or on their sides, whichever you prefer.
  • What you don't like about it: I don’t like the whole “hook up the tubes for humidity” I am a very low tech person and it seemed complicated to me so I haven’t used that feature yet. As such, the incubator struggles to keep the humidity steady.

  • Manufacturer-Harris Farms
  • Model- Nuture Right 360
  • Egg Capacity- 22 standard chicken.
  • What you like about it- easy to set. Auto turner. Great for viewing hatch.
  • What you don't like about it- The lid is finicky to replace during candling. The candler is on top of the unit and does not block out ambient light from the unit itself. Unreliable temp and hygrometer. Difficult to regulate humidity to maintain below 50% for thick Marans eggs—I have to thread a gauze 4x4 in channel A and leave the tail end in a 3 ounce water cup to wick; maintains humidity at 40% for Marans eggs.

I'd like to give this a go.

Our incubator isn't a high class but a mediocre priced generic one.

Manufacturer and brand are the same: NyPots
Model number BODJ65W9J4
2 TRAYS 8 goose or 18 chicken eggs which we have lavender orpington/isa browns 18 eggs in. We're on day 10.
I love the auto turn and stop with stopping at day 18. Love the candles, and easy to clean. It's quiet, nice air flow, excellent at maintaining the temperature.

What I don't like is the humidity can be tricky...I haven't figured out how to drop it below 70%. We have had high hatch rate...

The view is quite impressive! Definitely an advantage.

I'd like to give this a go.

Wow, that’s some high humidity. I wonder if the hygrometer is off.

Love your setup.. ours the humidity reads 70%.. not sure how to lower it. I'm thinking it's wrong.. like the creativity with humidity idea!!! 👌
