Behold The Anxiety Box

As some of you know I joined recently. I have a 6 month Cockerel Serama Named Moo Moo Cluck. He has had such bad anxiety any time he is alone without myself or my fiancée. We created a tray he can perch on and play in, while we move him to wherever we are. Kitchen, bathroom, etc. we used a small Jar lid for water and Puppy pads to absorb his waste. He loves my cats toy jingle balls. Good because she doesn’t. We are working with his breeder to get him a pullet friend. He goes to work with me, and lives the Sherpa blanket in his carrier. He has a duplicate pen in my classroom. Who wouldn’t want a classroom chicken. Well it’s an AG class he fits right in. Most spoiled needy bird ever! But as long as he is near you he is stress free and plays. If he isn’t near you, he Has figured out how to follow you. He’s lucky he’s cute.

He is a lucky bird. I think that a companion is a good idea. A local green house had a lone Serama cockerel that they kept in a cage. He crowed non stop wanting attention.

I would definitely get him a companion or two. Chickens thrive in a flock.
