Hey guys!
I am doing my first incubation right now, and am very excited! I candled on day 4 today, and was hoping to see something after losing at an egg candling progress article. The egg I candled glowed red, but I didn't see ant veins like I did in other pictures. I think this is because my headlamp isn't bright enough.
Wondering what candlers/flashlights work best for you. I want something were I can clearly see veins on day 4, something that bright would be awesome. Thanks!

Egg color has alot to do with it. White eggs are easy, brown eggs can be easy or too dark to see, and green/blue are the hardest to see. I am happy if I can monitor air cell growth on the blue/green eggs. I have used my phone and the light on the top of my NR360 incubator, but a small led light works best for me.

I am incubating blue EE eggs, and cream Asain black eggs, so was hoping for something bright enough to see into those. I've seen old threads were people have candlers good enough for it, so looking for something like that.

No, they all ended up being infertile. I cracked two, and both were infertile. All the rest had the same look as the two when candled, so I tossed them. I currently have 17 more shipped eggs in the incubator. 5 of which are on day 13 today, and moving a ton!
The other dozen are on day 6 today, and I know that at least 6 are fertile and alive. Not completely sure about the rest. Will have to candle tomorrow!
Did they hatch?
