Best places to buy value heirloom corn seeds? + Favorite heirloom corn varieties

I want to grow corn for both me, my family, and are poultry but I'm having trouble find decent prices on trustworthy heirloom corn seeds. I want heirloom so I can seed save for hopefully years to come. So far the best place I can find is rareseeds.com. They charge $3.50 - $5 for 75 seeds depending on variety. Advice is appreciated.

Sweet corn is what people eat and field corn is what is used for livestock.
I mean you can feed your chickens sweet corn but you will have to can or freeze for long term storage.
