BLACK SPANISH Turkeys

Wish I lived closer I would take 1 off your hands, my girl (I think is a girl) would like company I think. She likes my company,
But i think she would like a real turkey friend . They have very good eye sight too,

Well, not sure where you are, but if I can find a good loving pet home for one of these Toms, I am willing to help and do part of the driving to meet up.

I live in MA near the Plymouth we sometimes vaca in WV so I know MA is about 6 hours maybe a bit more to Hershey PA from where I live (

I raised my turkeys with chickens and have never had an issue. The worm chickens give to turkeys is called a Cecal worm and it isn't a problem with regular worming of the whole group.
My black spanishes are sweet and talkative and some of my favorite birds. They've been good free rangers and even the tom is sweet.

I find them to be a very friendly bird. Mine are mingled with about 40+ chickens and do just fine. I have coop for them to roost in and I have electricity for heat in the winter. My total fenced in pen is about an 1/8 acre. Plenty of space for what I have. My Black Spanish are about 1.5 years and ready for the freezer. I use my Tom to mingle with my Royal palm hen and make hybrids. Beautiful colors and about 30lbs on average for butchered weight. The black Spanish are large though and can kill a hen during mating from pressing down so hard and crushing their rib cage on the ground. I'll post pics when I can. Goodluck
