Bloody eggshell

My 29 week old chicken just laid her first egg but it’s got blood on it? It’s not wet blood but I’m unsure if she’s hurt or that’s how her eggs will look like.

Alarming for sure, but most likely nothing to worry about unless it continues and/or gets worse.

I wouldnt worry. All of my cochins i got in the spring had blood on their first egg and my orloff thats around 8 months just started laying her first 2 eggs had blood and they dont now.
Congratulations on your first egg though!

I saw a little bit of that, blood on eggshells, when my youngest girls began laying. It makes sense as they are passing this egg through a new slot. As long as it doesn't continue to happen, all should be well.

You can get strange looking eggs at any time but especially when they start laying. As long as it sorts itself out in a few days I don't worry about it. It's the difference in real life versus buying eggs that have been cleaned, packaged, and sorted for you.
