Bloody spot on beak

I’ve been noticing a lot of our flock (probably half of our 18) have bloody spots like this on their beaks, or scabs where it used to be bloody. Is this because of pecking each other or something else? Thank you!

It may be a feeder injury or fence injury.

Yes, some of the metal or even plastic feeders can have sharp edges, and wire fencing is sometimes responsible for beak injuries.

Ah I didn’t even think about the feeder, that definitely makes sense! Our new one will be here tomorrow and that should help (still using the one from the brooder). Thank you!!
