don't know about most, but mine sure as heck are/were. the bantam girls been broody twice already this year.aww i didnt know they were a broody prone type
All of my BLRW hens except 1 hatched eggs and raised chicks. They didn't loose a single chick and were excellent mothers. I sold all of their chicks that were 6 weeks old and that night two decided to go broody and have been sitting for the second time this season on their next clutch. My hens will sit together and raise their chicks as a family unit. We have two cocks and both helped raise the chicks.don't know about most, but mine sure as heck are/were. the bantam girls been broody twice already this year.
