i, I've got 2 beautiful blue leghorns. 12weeks old which I've raised from day old chicks. I was told both are hens when I got them, but I'm thinking one might actually be a cockerel? Both have developed pretty much the same. One only slightly bigger, little darker in color near neck and tail. both have small red combs and little red wattles which Started around 10weeks. I realize leghorns tend to get wattles and combs early. Nothing really dramatically different between them though. All my hens generally develop slightly different. Lately though I've noticed one makes a lot more noises than all my other pullets. How much different would the roo be to the hen by 12weeks? My other RIR rooster looked just like a Roo and acted like a roo at this same age. I'm confused to say the least. I can't find many blue leghorn pics of cockerels on the net to compare developers. Any thoughts on their genders ??:/
