I was looking back at Rosie's pictures, here she was at a year old, she was so skinny, and was free fed. She's always been a slow eater.

GorgeousHe reminds me of our dexter.
Dexter died a few years ago, on his 11th birthday. He was big "talker". If we said no, or told him to get off the furniture, he would argue with us. He loved to swim also.

Reminds me of the female Boxer we had to rehome. We consider her a rescue. The family we got her from was trying to breed mini Boxers and planned to breed her too. We brought her home and found out she had hookworms. She was 40-some pounds when we got her. We treated her for the worms and got her fixed and she put on some weight.I was looking back at Rosie's pictures, here she was at a year old, she was so skinny, and was free fed. I didn't even think that. Rosie was a scrawny girl when younger. She did look like I never fed her. Even now I gotta encourage her to eat daily. None of my boxers were ever food driven. She eats when she's good and ready.@oldhenlikesdogs Not at all saying you mistreated Rosie! It just reminded me.
