Bought a coop for our two 5-week-old chicks off a local farmer and they offered us to take some of their day-olds also. As tempting as it was to take a bunch, we decided to add just two to our flock since we are worried one of our older chicks could end up male (šŸ˜ž) leaving our other one alone, and also the coop we have is small and couldnā€™t comfortably house more than 4 chickens if all of them are hens and able to stay with us.

People were so helpful on my last post (still welcoming more input thereā˜ŗļø), so I figured Iā€™d try my luck again with breed identification for my new two babies. There was a mention by the farmer of some potential breeds involved in the hatch (should have made noteā€¦ I forgot which ones), and also mention of sex-links (but he said something like sex-link history not exactly that these ones are sex-linked?ā€¦. I donā€™t understand it all completely yet).

Thanks in advance for any input!ā˜ŗļø
