Hello, I have been raising 3 chicks that were found running loose in my neighborhood. I am unsure of their age but I have had them since January 17th. They were mostly feathered but still had a ittle bit of down feathers on their necks. The little cockeral started crowing a little over a week ago so I need to rehome him and I'm hoping if he is a desirable breed that someone will want him. They both have a lot of brown in their feathers with white wing tips, and are starting to get iridescent blue and green on their bodies and tail feathers. They both have black legs and their toenails appear painted which started out bright yellow-orange and have faded into a creamy white. The pullet also had the bright yellow on the end of her beak which has also faded.

I would also love to know the breed and sex of the brown and grey one. I was sure it was also a cockeral, but it started clucking yesterday and sounded just like a hen egg song. This one started out without a tail and started growing one a couple of weeks ago.

All are definitely mixed breeds, likely multigenerational. Your black one without a large rose comb is a pullet :)
Thank you for letting me know. I was hopeful they were a desirable breed in the hopes that someone would want the cockerals. Is it possible that the brown and grey one could be from the same clutch? They were all the same size and in the same location when they were found. The black ones were together and the other one was by himself.
