Breed of rooster and black hen

I have been cross breeding my rescue rooster with my light bragmas, leghorns, RIR and my black hen that I originally thought was a Maran (but I don’t think she is). Can anyone name the breed of my rooster and my black hen please? TIA

Your rooster is a RIR. Do you know what egg color the hen lays? If I zoom in on the hen it looks like she has feathers on her shanks. If so she's a Marans.

Okay I was pretty sure he was a RUR. Thank you! No feathers and I’m not sure about the shanks, I think so though actually. Wish I could find a better pic. About to go to the coop and look lol

She dosent have shanks I just went and looked. She was sold as a well summer but I just don’t know. She looks like a green mermaid color when the sun hits her wings.

Trying to figure out what she is so I can see what the dominant color of the chicks are gonna be. Growing my flock. Was wanting more black chickens cause she’s the only blackie left….

I'd say she is a Jersey Giant then.

According to the calculator you will get more blacks. That's about all I can tell you.

She lays dark brownish red eggs. Super tough, my chicks having a hard time pipping as we speak….i may be wrong on the shank thing, but her legs are grayish looking.
