Hello! First of all, I'm from Norway, so if my grammar seems a bit weird, please bear with me!
I bought a Brinsea maxi advance, and it's now test-running so that I can get a feel of how it works.
I'm just wondering about the turning. It turns automatically every 45 minutes ( can set it to everything between 30-180 minutes), is that too often, or is it okay? I'm going to use it for hatching quails.
I have been pouring in tons of water, but can't seem to stabilise the humidity where i want it. With just the water tray, the hygrometer (is it even the right word?) shows around 30 in relative humidity, and the only way i could get it to rise is to add wet paper towels to the incubator, but that also means changing the paper towels and opening the incubator more often than i would normally do.
Do anyone have some experience to share about this? I would be forever gratefull!
