We are planning to purchase one of hopefully many of these incubators. I have heard that they are pretty good incubators and would love to see what those of you that have them or have used them think of them. I would love to get a GQF cabinet incubator but they are way out of my price range. Any Pros and or Cons will be greatly appreciated.

From what I've read, Brinsea makes a good incubator. The main thing to keep in mind is that all incubators lie. Make sure you have at least one (I keep two) calibrated thermometers inside and a salt tested hygrometer.

Here's an article that might help.

I have two Govee thermometer/hygrometers that I use. I will have to look up how to salt calibrate my hygrometers, I've never heard of that before. I'll go look at the link you posted and if it isn't there, I'll look around for the info. Thanks for your response.

I don’t have that model. I do have a Brinsea Ovation-ECO that makes me regret the three others I bought before it. Keeps a stable temp, consistent throughout, and really close to what the thermostat on the incubator reads.

To clarify, it’s still a 56, just a different variety. I think the one you’re showing has the humidity control?

What kind of hatch rates have you seen with your ECO? I just looked at Brinsea's site and it looks like the main diff. is that it doesn't have the water system and the humidity readout. It sounds like it is pretty comperable to the EX.

First batch through it. Was 105 eggs from Myshire. 78 hatched. 2nd batch was just 8 eggs I started off this season with, 2 from the refrigerator out of curiosity, 3 mutant-large probable double yolks… only 2 hatched but I wasn’t expecting much. 3rd is hatching at this moment- of 51, 6 hatched so far… I’ll have your answer tomorrow night?

So far, it sounds like I won't regret buying this incubator. If it works as good as I'm hearing and is as easy to use and they say I think we will be buying more of them as we can. My wife wants me to have multiple incubators running nonstop.
