Broody Chicken Breeds

What are some broody chicken breeds? I have a young 3 month old australop Cochin cross, what else can I cross her with when she gets older to make a more broody off spring the hen I have now is friendly gentle and sweet and she’s pretty and cute with a white face and belly and she has white edges on her wing feathers. Her feathers are softer than most chicken feathers I ever felt hers are soft like a newborn hatchling. What should I mix her with to make a chicken mix that’s mega super broody and that makes fantastic mother hens.

Silkies are definitely a broody breed, they are broody most of the time. I have also heard of buff orpingtons being broody alot, but definitely silkies.

Cochins. I have one sitting on eggs now and one in broody jail. The broody jails get more traffic than the coop.

Cross her back to a Cochin and you'll soon have feathered incubators.

I don't believe they're known for being broody, but I'm not super familiar with them either.

Yes, I have a friend that is into BO's. They are indeed broody.
