We are finally out of a very long winter and not sure how/why this happened or when but I just noticed it this afternoon when I let the babies out to roam 😫 I feel terrible that I didn't notice this sooner. I trimmed her nails today and noticed her poor toes. She's walking fine and acting normal. It's only on her shorter toes, 1 year old buff polish. I plan on giving her an Epsom soak tonight - is there anything else you guys recommend? 😭 I didn't realize bumble foot could happen on toes and thought it's more on bottom of feet - is there anything else this can be?

Could she have gotten just those tips frostbitten? That looks like what it is but I could be wrong. The Epsom salts soaks can be helpful, and you could apply some Betadine to the toes daily. Walmart Equate First Aid Antiseptic is the same as Betadine and costs less. Usually with frostbite, the black area will self amputate in weeks.

They definitely could've, we had an absolute brutal winter and she was one of the few that would venture out whenever possible. I soaked her in Epsom salt, sprayed with betadine and then slathered with prid draw salve; wrapped with a bandage which she doesnt seem to mind. The one side I tried to pull back the scab a bit after soak and there's a little ooze under the scab 😔
