I took my older (about 4-4.5 years) hen to the vet for bumble foot a couple months ago. She had swelling in both feet but only had a scab on one (that I removed), they did some wound debridement, dressed the foot and gave me an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory. I gave her the medications for one week, took a few day break because of stool problems and them gave them to her again for about another week. This improved her condition somewhat, the swelling reduced to basically just her middle toes.
I've been waiting since then for her to improve or get worse. Since her wound healed I've been letting her get plenty of exercise, giving her occasional epson salt soakings and been applying olive oil to her feet sometimes. Until now her feet didn't really seem to be getting substantially better or worse, and she's been acting pretty normally (she has been throughout the whole process). This afternoon though I noticed some substantial redness in her feet and legs. What should I do for her??? I just want her to get better and I can't manage to bring her to vet again. She doesn't have any scabs right now, I've heard about drawing salves, would that be useful????
Between when I noticed the redness a couple hours ago and when I went out to take these pictures a few minutes ago the redness had greatly reduced so that you can barely see it in the photos, idk what this means (probably good though)

Did you get the kernel out of the foot ?
Did you squeeze any of goo out?
On the more swollen foot there was a scab on the toe with a kernel that I pulled out, besides what was connected to the scab I didn't remove anything and applied a generous amount of antibiotic cream to the wound.
