DL, if you have a wood shed, then you probably have wood ashes,
and that is a no-people solution to your traction problem.
It is cold again, 10 F, this morning with a dusting of snow but sunshine now.
We are taking our DIL@ out for bowling for her BDay and trading off baby duty while having fun. Little GS likes to bowl too. DS@ will roll in from work later and then we will get some dinner.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

It's 10F out. High of 19 today.
My nephew is going in for surgery on his knee today. He's only 22 years old and has arthritis/swelling in the knee. The MRI showed that the knee has some genetic flaws that need to be corrected so that it will function correctly and prevent complete breakdown of the cartilage leading to knee replacement.

Woke late to a white out, then the sun came out, then another white out....then it just kept going on and off and on and off.
Between whiteouts I was able to shovel path, steps/porch, and partial run of 6-8"(some from yesterday). At least it's light and fluffy, but geeze STOP SNOWING ALREADY!!! Supposed to go on and off all day.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! Sunny and 26F, the plains are single digits again. I think that we have been warmer all week!
Snow for tonight, 7 inches by morning when I am supposed to take MORF shopping. We shall see what happens with that.
We had a great time bowling and DS@ got to join us because his boss said that it was too cold and icy to work (Arborist) and then we all went out for sushi. GS is becoming a fan of the not spicy ones. Not sliding the kid's meals to him anymore for this! LOL!
Stay safe out there, Cafe! That is how I shovel too, aart.

Wish we'd get 6-8 inches of fluffy snow. Hubby would go XC skiing and stop complaining about not being able to go XC skiing.
