In sorry to hear about your loss, I'm glad you were brave enough to end her suffering. It must have been very hard to deal with. The marans eggs are still lost, but the good news is she is sending more Thursday.

I dream of one day raising my own meat, chicken, pork & beef. Learning to separate pet from feed animal is new but not as hard as I thought. Losing my gorgeous, and only, green egger and knowing she was in pain that long was the hard part. Quality of life is my mantra. 6 hours in pain is heartbreaking and unacceptable. Food source or pet, I love and respect all my animals.

The eggs were laid 12/11+12 only so they are very fresh for shipped eggs.
