Can anyone tell me what day of incubation this goose egg is on?

That looks about right to me. I'm candling American Buff eggs at the moment. Did you take this from the nest to incubate and it is somewhat developed?

Yes, it was in a dumped goose's nest, sadly the other eggs were eaten before I could rescue them

That is actually a spider, you must have big tarantulas in your area (yes it is a joke). Just candled my day 3 quail eggs that look exactly the same but have a 16 day incubation, crazy how fast the little buggers grow, not sure I have the patience to incubate geese, or worse, emus (60 days!). Hope it works out!
